Reiki Levels (Degrees)

Reiki I - Family and Friends

During this first attunement you will be asked to express why you feel you are being drawn to Reiki and in this first class, the story of how Reiki re-emerged within humanity's awareness will described to you.

At every stage of the training, you will be gently opened to a new way of being and the attunement will deepen throughout the time we share together.

The whole process reconnects each individual to these energies by Initiation and once the attunement is complete, students are then able to use Reiki healing for themselves and others and are shown the conventional hand positions, though students are always encouraged to be intuitive.

Reiki II - Practitioner Level

Reiki II consolidates the attunement and brings each student more deeply into the Reiki energies.

Within this training period, everyone learns how to use the Sacred Symbols of Reiki and these will, from then on, enable the treatment of 1) people and situations absently, 2) issues created by emotional and mental stress as well as providing an extra dimension - 3) a power symbol.

Please note however that this attunement can only be arranged once the energies of the initial class have been assimilated - experience has generally indicated that it takes between three and six months.

Reiki III(a) Personal Mastery

The Reiki Master Level brings a further two power symbols (the Master Symbols) within the attunement. This helps to deepen their ability for healing themselves and others.

This experience is the deepest initiation and as a result brings the most profound period of purification. We would again point out that it is necessary for the integration process to be completed and not to consider moving into this attunement until after a period of at least three years following the Reiki II initiation.

Reiki III(b) Master Practitioner Level

The Reiki Master Second Level delves further into the energies around healing others, with a focus on recognising and identifying illnesses and imbalances in anothers energy system.

This level also deals with the barriers to healing and the energetic causes of diseases and illness on a holistic level.

Reiki Master-Teacher Level

The Reiki Master Teacher is the initiation to both teach reiki, and to be able to pass attunements to others to allow the flow of reiki energy within them. as a Master Teacher, you are also brought to the wisdom that helps students to create their own lives, such that they can become true Master - Teachers, both in Life and Qualification. This helps to deepen their ability for healing themselves and others. You are also introduced to many new Reiki Symbols. Reiki Master Teacher is a great commitment both in terms of Time, and of your commitment to the world.

Attunements

Reiki has always been a part of who we are, but as we became separated from our conscious awareness of the Oneness of everything, we collectively lost our refined attunement to its frequencies.

In the early part of the last century, a Japanese Doctor - Master Mikao Usui was the vehicle through which these frequencies were restored to us.

If you are feeling drawn to Reiki, we here at the Quiet Mind Centre would be pleased to arrange an attunement for you to be re-connected to these wonderful healing energies.

The training is completed within three degree levels which are spread over agreed time periods to allow sufficient time for each individual to assimilate the new state of awareness and integrate the Reiki energies.

After each level of attunement there will be a period of purification, during which each student will be asked to modify their lives - both in daily practices and diets.

It is not unusual for students to experience disturbance to their Being following attunements be it on the physical, emotional, mental or spiritual levels. To facilitate the integration, we encourage everyone to drink plenty of water.

When people become involved with Reiki, we suggest to them to let go of wanting to speed through all the different levels. Each attunement presents wonderful gifts of awareness and time should be taken to enjoy the processes. We encourage people not to consider rushing through the different levels as each stage should be fully appreciated for itself.
